Thank you for visiting our website and welcome to our School.
Wingrave Church of England Combined School is a small, friendly school at the heart of a lovely village. We place great emphasis on engaging with the community and developing family spirit. Our children enjoy regularly celebrating in the local church. It is quite a sight to see the whole school walking through the village to St Peter and St Paul's.
The curriculum we offer is varied and enriched by many visitors to the school. Through breadth and balance we aim to meet the children's individual needs. We help children to reflect on their learning, be resilient, persevere and willing to take on new challenges through our core Christian values:
Believe, Achieve, Enjoy "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13
As a Church School we offer a commitment to high academic standards together with a very caring ethos and family atmosphere. Our children enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum and leave the school as confident young people who are well prepared for the challenges of secondary school. In our most recent parent questionnaire 100% of respondents agreed that their child enjoyed school. Every child truly matters here at Wingrave. Wingrave Church of England Combined School is committed to the highest standards in protecting and safeguarding the children entrusted to our care. Where we celebrate the gifts and talents of every person as uniquely created in the image of God.
Although our catchment area is Wingrave and the villages of Aston Abbotts, Cublington and Rowsham, we also have children from further afield and from the nearby town of Aylesbury. If you would like to see our school for yourself, then please contact the school office to make an appointment on 01296 681436. We would love to show you around.
