Having survived "Black Friday" last week (three tests in one morning) the students have mostly forgiven me and have been working flat out. They have been working on their quads (not in PE but in maths.....quadrilaterals) and most recently have written engaging autobiographies celebrating successful and rewarding lives. Special mention to Alex (helped by Luke) who explained his wealth by inventing a time machine then going back and making bets that he would one day build a time machine. You would think the bookies would have smelled a rat.
In PE they have been building up their ball skills in invasion games.
The students are asking for the loan of Warhorse books. They don't want to saddle you with the problem but if you happen to have a copy their plea might spur you into action. Eagle eyed readers may have noticed Warhorse's sneak appearance in the group photograph.
In Topic the students are learning how to market a product so have been researching target audiences in terms of age and income. One unfortunate side effect of this is that they keep humming the McDonalds jingle.
The house captains are working on possible new house games to increase sports participation.
Homework and spellings are winging their way home as we speak.
